RobotMaker Inc. – Conditions of Use and Sale

RobotMaker Inc. (“RobotMaker” or “we”) operates the www.robotmaker.ca website (the “Site”), where buyers (“Customers”) can purchase robotics products (“Products”) sold by RobotMaker and third-party vendors (collectively, “Vendors”). RobotMaker provides the Site and resells the Products subject to the following terms and conditions.

These Conditions of Use and Sale (the “Conditions”) form a legally binding contract between you (the “Customer”) and RobotMaker in relation to your use of the Site and the purchase of Products. Third-party Vendors are third-party beneficiaries of the “Purchase Agreement” and General Provisions sections of these Conditions.

RobotMaker may update the Site or these Conditions at any time without notice. Please review these Conditions carefully each time you place an order or accept delivery of Products. If you do not agree with these Conditions, you must not use the Site or purchase Products.

Important Notice on Product Use

All Products are believed to be of good quality and reliable. However, robotics products may malfunction. You must not use Products in applications where a failure could result in property damage, injury, or death. The responsibility for safe use and operation of Products rests solely with the user.

Be vigilant and act prudently.

Website Use

You agree to use the Site only in compliance with these Conditions. Unauthorized automated access, scraping, or disruptive activity is strictly prohibited. You may not copy, duplicate, resell, or misuse the Site or its content.

RobotMaker is not responsible for:

  • Third-party content on the Site.
  • Copyright or intellectual property infringement by third parties.
  • External website links provided as resources.

Purchase Agreement

By purchasing or accepting delivery of Products from the Site, you agree to these Conditions. Purchases are transactions between the Customer and the Vendor (RobotMaker or a third-party Vendor). If Products are purchased from a third-party Vendor, that Vendor is the seller of record, and RobotMaker acts only as a marketplace facilitator.

Risk of Loss

Ownership and risk of loss for Products pass to the Customer upon receipt.

Cancelling Orders

Orders not yet in the shipping process may be cancelled by contacting RobotMaker as soon as possible. If the order has already shipped, it may be returned in accordance with the Returns Policy.

Special order items may not be cancelled once processing has begun. Restocking fees may apply for large orders.

Shipping charges are non-refundable.

Returns

  • Products may be returned within 30 days of receipt, provided an RA (Return Authorization) number is obtained in advance.
  • Products must be in original packaging, unused, and resellable.
  • Certain items are non-refundable (assembled kits, soldered parts, software/apps, clearance items, and special orders).
  • A cleaning fee (CAD 100) may apply if domestic robots are returned uncleaned.
  • Refunds are issued within 7 days of product return (excluding shipping fees).

Product Information & Revisions

Vendors strive for accuracy but cannot guarantee listings are always complete or current. Vendors are not responsible for manufacturer-driven changes to specifications or appearance.

Discounts

RobotMaker may occasionally offer discount codes or volume discounts. Specific exclusions and conditions apply, as outlined at checkout or in promotional terms.

Warranty

Products are covered by the original manufacturer’s warranty. RobotMaker and Vendors are not responsible for warranties beyond those provided by the manufacturer. Physical damage or misuse voids warranties.

Professional and specialized equipment is intended for professional users and may not be returnable. Warranty coverage is limited to the manufacturer’s terms.

Disclaimer

EXCEPT AS SPECIFICALLY STATED, ROBOTMAKER AND VENDORS PROVIDE PRODUCTS “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTIES, CONDITIONS, OR GUARANTEES, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

Limitation of Liability

RobotMaker’s and Vendors’ maximum liability is limited to the purchase price of the Products. Neither RobotMaker nor Vendors shall be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.

Pricing

  • All prices are in Canadian Dollars (CAD).
  • Prices exclude taxes, shipping, and handling.
  • Prices may change without notice.
  • Errors in pricing may result in cancellation or revision of an order.

Payment Methods

RobotMaker accepts the following payment methods:

  1. PayPal – At checkout, you may choose PayPal and will be redirected to complete your payment. Payments are processed immediately.
  2. Certified Cheque (Canada Only) – Customers may pay with a certified cheque issued by a Canadian financial institution. Orders are reserved for 7 days pending receipt of payment. Orders will ship once the cheque clears.

Note:

  • We do not accept credit cards, wire transfers, Apple Pay, Google Pay, or purchase orders.
  • All orders must be fully paid before shipment.

Taxes

Applicable Canadian taxes (GST, HST, PST, QST) are charged based on the province or territory of delivery. International orders may be subject to import duties or taxes payable by the Customer.

Privacy

RobotMaker values customer privacy and processes personal data in accordance with its Privacy Policy. By creating an account, you consent to receive communications regarding products, promotions, and services. You may withdraw consent at any time.

Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Conditions are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes will be submitted to the courts of the judicial District of Montreal, Quebec.

Entire Agreement

These Conditions, together with your order invoice, form the complete agreement between you and RobotMaker.

Customer and RobotMaker agree that these Conditions are drafted in English.
